This series captures my attempt at photographing New Jersey’s High Point Monument in front of the setting sun, a composition made possible by careful planning in the PhotoPills app. The monument still appears much larger than the sun at a distance of 2.5 miles from this undisclosed set of locations in Port Jervis, NY. My experience here varied as did the conditions I was presented with.
